Waxing, for impeccable hair removal for all areas of your body.
Waxing allows for impeccable hair removal all over your body. It is unthinkable to forego waxing if you want perfect, fast, and efficient results, lasting longer than other home techniques.
Contrary to shaving or hair removal creams that cut hair at the skin surface, waxing tears out hair from the root. This hair removal method is long-lasting because the hair will take up to 3 weeks to regrow. In addition, as waxing treatments add up, hair is thinner, less dense, and much less visible.
We use two wax types (warm and hot) according to the area treated. Thus, we can eliminate all hair, whether thin or coarse, and even very fine hair that can be embarrassing in the sun.
Warm wax
Contrary to what its name seems to indicate, warm wax is not less hot than what we call hot wax. The difference is in the hair removal technique. Warm wax is used with strips and covers a larger surface than hot wax. It is fast and efficient.
Hot wax
Hot wax is used on more sensitive areas where hair is coarser.
Eyebrow waxing: warning!
A qualified esthetician will use wax as little as possible to groom the eyebrows. Traction is too strong for the delicate skin of this area. As time goes on, people used to waxing their eyebrows can have drooping eyelids (eyelid ptosis). We always favor tweezers for eyebrow shaping.
